Brushguard on an Outback
Sweet82 replied to mattocs's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI have one on my Forester? Subaru sells what the call a "brush guard". It's nothing more than a thick piece of plastic to mount fog lights on. I think they have to have it that way so it won't affect the air bags? Scorpion in AZ sells metal bars for Outbacks. http://www.scorpionsubaru.com/photos.htm Good Luck, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester ...Check with Dr. Outback for some blowout factory Subaru deals....

Rear diff
In 4wd your rear wheels are trying to pass the fronts if you have a D/R and a 3.7 diff You'd probably hear your drivetrain trying to compensate for the difference in speed. Churping rear wheels? You may be able to jack the car up and see if the front and rear wheel move the same speed in 4wd.

Radio Replacement for 81 Subaru DL - HELP!

Rebuilt Tranny? where to buy?
Put out a thread in the "Market Place" forum. This board is really good on that sort of thing. Members usually have such things on hand (in their stash) and other members are always volunteering to haul parts on their travels. I got a spare for the price of gas to deliver it Just a thought?
