  1. Quitters never win! And Winners never Quit! You give up too easy. -Brian
  2. I preffer mugs, they are harder to break. #4 has my vote. Cost isnt an issue, $15 sounds fair. Would definatly love to get one personalized. -Brian
  3. I think only the 5 series... 504 and 505's have the 4x140mm bolt pattern. Any other peugeot wont bolt up -Brian
  4. Yeah, theres no way those are the same car... and that 2nd pic is definatly a photoshop. -Brian
  5. Jeremy... we're getting a wood chipper and taking care of those piles of brush he has at his house. Russ, i think your right. Mt. Hamilton is gonna be one heck of a drive for us. Isnt clear lake north of Sacramento??? That would make the drive even longer for you than everyone else. -Brian
  6. I dunno... are we? Jeremy... i didnt know you were working on a legacy. This upcomming weekend Im gonna be traveling to Reno so maybe when we're done with Jibs I can lend a hand. Russ... do you have an address for Mt.Hamilton? The Park that we met at the Impreza meet was a nice little place, and the observatory at the top was neat as well. I think that would be a cool place to have a mini-meet. 1st weekend of May would put us at May 5th & 6th. Shall we agree on that then? Which is better, saturday or sunday? Im thinking Sunday shouldnt be as packed as Saturday... but maybe the observatory closes early? -Brian
  7. Set your parking brake and you can remove the CV w/out messing with your rotors or caliper. Kinda tricky, but it can be done... and once mastered can cut your CV swap time in half. You will need to remove the lower ball joint from the lower control arm... you should also remove the ball joint from the steering rack, but sometimes you can just rotate the steering wheel all the way toward the CV you are replacing and that will give you enough room to slide the CV off the tranny stub. Once the CV is off the tranny, just slide the shaft out of the bearing and hub assembly. That is, of course, if the CV wants to slide out. Ive done some CV's where i had to beat the snot out of the shaft to get it out of the hub. Usually in that case, the bearing comes out with it and you will then need to replace whichever (or i suggest both) bearings. Ive also done some CV joints where they just slide right out of the hub with barely a tap. Those are the ones I preffer to do :-p -Brian
  8. Yeah, we have a site up right now with brochures. http://usmb.net/gallery/Brochures We can work on putting those new brochures up if you want. I wonder if there's any aftermarket rims for Isuzu Geminett's -Brian
  9. your idle problem sounds like a vacuum leak. Should be a pretty big one since it fails to idle when its warm. Use a can of carb cleaner and spray it around the motor to help find the leak. -Brian
  10. More space for PM's. More space for photo's. And a nifty little badge under your name. -Brian
  11. I really liked the little mexican joint that setup at last years WCSS. -Brian
  12. JB. The moonrocks are there 365 days of the year, and how many events do they throw there? The WCSS is only once a year. I put in for my vacation time today. Got August 22nd till the 29th off. -Brian
  13. Rear E-Brake has been performed by using 240SX parts i believe. I think Tex did it, or maybe it was corky. Not sure if the USRM has anything in it about rear ebrake. There seems to be alot more impreza's showing up in the junkyard here. Maybe I'll have to pull some parts and see what fits what. -Brian
  14. Lost the passenger side mirror to a tree once. I dont think i left it on the trail, just threw it in the back of the car and continued on my way. -Brian
  15. If your a member of the USMB you are more than welcome to come. Probably wont be any offroading as I'll be in the RX. It doesnt agree with the dirt right now. Would like to find a nice scenic drive somewhere. I know of some great places up here and around the sierra's, but not many in the bay. -Brian
  16. Yes your using the right word. Backfiring it is. The WRX's could probably do it with ease if they messed with their fuel mixter and timing. Again, Im not sure you understand your engine. Did you say your car was carburated? -Brian
  17. The headlight trick is definatly my favorite. Right now, the #1 feature i love most about my Subaru is the Dual Range AWD with locking Center Diff -Brian
  18. I paid $32 for both of my front KYB's from a local junkyard. And here's a secret about Kragen. They will beat anyones price by 5%. You shoulda called Napa 1st and then called Kragen and told them Napa had them for $90. Napa might have to call to confirm, but they will then adjust the price to 5% lower than Napa's. Saves me a buttload on CV's -Brian
  19. I say its the spider intake. Put the stocker back on -Brian
  20. Miles... right now my timing is set at 20-21 degrees. I used to have it set at 18 degrees, and it seems setting my timing up to 21 only helps alittle. BGD73... i doubt it's my cams. My intake temps should be through the roof, but yeah... its turbo'd, so thats to be expected. I havent installed the intercooler just yet. I want to change my BPV setup before I put the IC back on there. -Brian
