the value of a LSD is way higher then a open , and they are rare -
You mean that he could remove the Strut Top blocks, flip 'em and reinstall them? The SJR logo on them, should face the Fenders as that strut blocks are from your older SJR design, isn't it? ... as far as I know, only the Newer SJR lift blocks has the SJR logo facing the Front. Kind Regards. On my present lifts the logos face as follows: EA81 to the fender side EA82 to the front EJ angled to side Old style EA82 to the fender side

T-case lift FAQ (transfer case questions / answers)

Here's a 8" http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php/catalog/lift-kits/0-8-lift-kit-ea82-detail -
AA does not sell kits any more, I sell them here www.sjrlift.com, with Subaru lifts its mostly a body lift so as the lift gets taller the axles keep the same stress, with the 1.6 4 speed, put a weber carb on that and keep your tires on the smaller say 27" max side, that engine and trans is a good match for each other just keep the tires smaller as tire size goes up the gearing also goes up, on the EA82 with 4 or 6" lift its about the same, the rear has a few extra blocks, so what are you swapping into the loyale body? hopefully a Dualrange possibly a EJ2.2?

yes under hood need to see the top of blocks at the strut the big hole with 3 bolts, also top of strut under fender, looks like the strut blocks are in wrong

Which GL is best for off-roading?
Scott in Bellingham replied to madness's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The EA82 cars (85-loyale) have stronger axles, also 85-88 has the 5speed Dualrange, matters where you offroad, here in the northwest we encounter many a tree and the Wagon rear side windows can get bashed, I like my 86 GL coupe, but a sedan is nice too, I put the most miles on a 88 bobbed EJed wagon, that was a great car -
I just looked at the 6 bolt thread , noticed the 9/16 drilled and welded studs, now that works but if you use a 14MM bit then the stock studs press right in like the stock ones no welding needed

I (SJR) build lift kits up to 2004 on the legacy format and 2008 on the Forester/Impreza format, if you want a lift for a newer Subaru car bring it to my shop and let me have it a day and ill give you a free 2" or shorter lift, if you want to go higher say 3-4" Ill make you a kit for $200 , my plans are to fill up my lift kit options up to 2016 so if I can take a few measurements off your car and remove a few brackets and suspension pieces to get some good detailed measurements off of then your helping me out and ill help you out, this goes for all the Subaru formats, after my lineup is filled up to 2016 then ill be offering kits from 1/4" to 6" and custom taller lifts, the 1/4"- 2" lifts will be in solid Aluminum and the 2" plus kits will be steel, thanks for you help guys, I need to do this or shut the place down and go find another job, my Shop is in Bellingham Washington , contact me here or facebook (SJR LIFT) or www.sjrlift.com
