  1. I sold him a replacement DP last week. It has a 02 sensor in it. There are some up-pipes that have bungs in them for 02 sensors, I have one on my RX. But these are pretty rare and might be from a EA81T. Use the one after the turbo, on the DP.
  2. Permits are $10ea, 5 permits per family. Available at the Ranger Station on Hwy 410 just past Mc D's. Hours are M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Phone number is (360) 825-6585.
  3. Well, guess I'll play along. Around 10in of lift, sub frame front and rear. Divorced Nissan t-case. 30x11.50x15 Superswampers 5spd D/R. 4.11 gears front and rear, rear diff welded. Dual shocks up front, Ranchos in the rear. Rear disc brakes. Power steering. Weber carb on top of a EA81 engine. Warn 6000 winch. Steel bumpers, front and rear. Red Top battery. Some other doo dads I'm probably forgetting.
  4. No cutting necessary. Just make sure you get all the parts needed for the swap. Peddle assembly, clutch cable. Complete running gear. Make sure the rear diff ratio you get matches the tranny (3.9 for a 5spd D/R non turbo)
  5. Have you direct wired the fan to see if it works?
  6. The timing sounds like its wrong. Does it have any power? Have you read the write up on installing the timing belts? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50768
  7. I believe ALL EA82 power steering units leak. Usually around the lines coming out of the pump. Which can get on the pulley and sprAy from there.
  8. All it takes are the right tools. Long needle nose pliers and skinny fingers.
  9. The timing may need to be adjusted. It should be 25deg BTDC. Dont forget to connect the green plug under the dash next to the ECU first.
  10. Post a pic of it here... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=92756 The Cherry Bomb on my hatch is in the center, I have another26in or so of pipe the rear. Its a little quieter than having it at the end.
  11. If you find one with over 150K on it, expect to replace alot of the suspension/steering components. Experiment with loads, you will find a point where you and the car feel over-burdened. I watched this guy haul the remnants of a deck in his trailer for a week. It was full on all trips.
  12. Hahaha........NOT! Besides, some of us have a few of each kind
  13. There are no pics in the first post, but after that I see the rest.
  14. I basically use Castrol in all my stuff, oil wise. I dont skimp on the other fluids either. But it all comes down to personal choice and $. Theres a few items that should have no compromise tho. Plugs - NGK OEM thermostats and PCV. DO NOT use Fram for anything. WIX, Purolater or Napa for oil filters. Do not run on dry pavement in 4wd. You can shift on the fly in conditions that require 4wd.
  15. Yes, you can swap rear disc brakes from a EA82. Most came on the turbo models and some were on GL-10 models. No proportioning valve needed. Get the rotor, backing plate, caliper and rubber/hard lines and you will be good to go.
  16. I have a 3.9 rear diff. You can thank me later
  17. Yup, your right. I went back and checked the manuals. The chart I looked at was for all EA82's except for the XT with AT. Of course it would be the oddball The MT's are 23 spline. And that info is only available in the XT FSM.
  18. Probably not going to get alot of technical info here. But a search on nasioc got me this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/search.php?searchid=2386295 Have to read thru some of the stuff to get to the info you need.
  19. I would either do the crush mode like Presslab was talking about or get a higher psi fuel pump to go along with the injectors and regulator.
  20. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24980&highlight=tire+size Any lift questions should be in the Offroad Forum.
