  1. Explain "going through". Like, whats happening to them?

I know a couple of years ago somebody here was talking about someone they knew ran a EA82 in a Score race. I tried to find it in the results, but I have a feeling it was DNF.
  3. The green connectors together for test mode. Then find the black connectors, this is the dealer check mode. Once you check these, connect both together, I think this will clear the codes. If it doesnt, just disconnect the battery overnight.
  4. Move away from the salt water Need to know exactly what broke - The seat, rail or capture/mount?
  5. He's talking about the crankshaft. If theres any irregularities on the shaft, the seal cannot do its job. If the oil was never changed in the car it would certainly put grooves on the pump shaft. Is this a crate motor?
  6. The plugs are under the steering column next to the ECU. Need to connect the green plugs to read them. ECU Codes

Are we a gadget freak, or what? Thats bodering on dangerous driving friend.
  8. I will be doing the same on my 86 wagon soon, I had to buy the sealant for mine :-p I did not read the tubes but have never heard of heating them up prior to use. I cant get to the tubes right now either, they are in my toolbox which is at school which is locked up tight for the quarter break right now. Have you read the directions on the tube yet?
  9. Another tidbit. The XT6 has the same dampner pulley. I had one go out on my first XT6 and had a heck of a time finding another. But, at one time, I had a XT turbo in my possesion. It just so happened to have the solid pulley. BUT the belts are different on the XT6, just one big wide belt compared to the 2 on the XT. So a belt change is needed when using a XT pulley on the XT6.
  10. Yes, there is The Duty Solenoid C is the item that needs to be tapped, using a switch of sorts. Here is the link from XT6.net Duty Soleniod C
  11. The FP is only supposed to operate when the key is turned to the start position, not the on position. Run a ground wire to the pump and see if the car will start.
  12. Yes, theres 2 relays under the passenger seat(this is what my 84 T-Coupe had, not sure about NA). One is for the ignition the other is FP relay. But I would make sure the pump is grounded, maybe run a test wire from the pump to a good ground source to check it.
  13. I had to do something like this with a engine swap in my RX. The disty's were different. The wires that go into the disty are plugged into the bottom. Remove the rubber grommet and I think 2 screws then unplug it, then replace with the other harness.
  14. Not likely, you might have the linkage out of adjustment or some debris jamming it.
  15. Ewww, hope none of that got sucked into your carb, its a common malady with those air suction valves. As to removing it, I dont know. I think Edrach and a few others have more experiance with them than me.
  16. Hmmm, swap out old rotten rear suspension, replace with another old rotten rear suspension Expect to replace it again sometime in the future.
  17. I think I have a set of those.
  18. When it gets dark tonight I'll take a pic of my GL-10 Turbo Wagon. I think the display is florescent, but not 100% on that. I know the 83/84 digidashes are.
  19. Do we know you? Sorry, couldnt help myself. Got to offer something, like food, brew, girls (oops, nevermind that). I cant make nights tho, sorry
  20. Sorry I missed the fun :-\ But thats tame stuff compared to what we usually do, like up at Evans Creek. Which I am seriously jonesing for Oh yeah, welcome to the club
  21. EA82 rear shocks and any aftermarket stuff for them. Legacy front struts, with the same as above. I think Imp struts will work on the front also, but you need to swap hubs to do it.
  22. Uh, waaaayyyy to big. I dont mind looking at the car, but I dont need to see the whole freaking countryside. Please in the future resize your pics before posting.
  23. Eh? Do they sell these on the Is. only? I dont think she can afford everything you listed, but it would sure be nice if you donated some
  24. Cold spot on the bottom of the rad after it reaches running temp means the rad needs a good flushing or re-core, or even replaced. Try a good flush first, might want to check the other water lines too.
  25. FYI, the TCU is behind the drivers side seat in the quarter panel. Thats if you have a 4EAT
