Click on the Shirley link, its a group of guys in Iceland. It looks like tire came off the rim in that pic. You cant drift a stock EA82 GL wagon, it just doesnt have the power to do it. Anyone can throw it sideways into a corner, if you have the cajones. You need a transplant, like a EJ20 or better to get the power.

I no longer have my 84 FSM, which goes into detail on the "test program". Maybe the digidash guru carfreak can look it up for everyone. I do have a troubleshooting schematic tho.

Hatch Patrol annual XMas tree run

I may make a run up this week to verify what Jesse found. The Brat shouldnt have to big a problem -
I think thats the start up from factory sequence. Theres a way to reset it so that it displays normal. I'll need to check the FSM to be sure.

Would love to see you guys, come on down! -
I like everything except for the wheel-tire combo. Dainty and gnarly together just doesnt look right to me. How did you extend the spare tire basket out?

Had another Subaru moment yesterday, shared it with a 05 WRX too! Pulling out of the Walmart parking lot, the road goes uphill a little. Just enough to get a minivan turning right stuck The WRX was 2 cars in front of me and when the light turned green we both pulled out at the same time and went around the van. I came along side of him and his GF and him were both laughing and he gave me a thumbs up. -

Pacific Import Auto. They are in Spanaway on Pacific/Hiway 7. -
Yeah, theres a tab at the end of the DP, but there is one thats on the side to bolt to the trans also. Btw, I've never used that attachment point.

I may have missed it, but are you getting spark from the coil? Spark to the plugs? I just had a issue with my Brat that it was getting spark from the coil but not to the plugs. Turns out the coil spark wasnt hot enough.....ie, a bad coil.

It wasnt the snow that messed everything up, it was the ice underneath it. I drove Mykeys wife home from my place last night. She didnt want to chance the hill down to South Prairie in her Neon. And it was very icy. Then my SO needed help getting home from Olympia. She has a Mitsubishi Galant with summer tires. She made it to PIA and I picked her up there. I drove my Brat with Hankook iPikes mounted (FTW!) and I had to stomp the go pedal to try and break the tires loose. It took me 45min to get down the hill to Sumner :-\ Elhi Hill was locked up with spinouts and I had to detour back to South Prairie and then thru Orting and finally to hiway 410. Thats when the fun started, (for me, but not so for others). Cars were stuck every where, in the median and on the shoulder. The ones that were doing 10mph I just buzzed past, the others (trucks, SUV's) that were doing 30+ I followed at a safe distance. Hiway 512 in South Hill Puyallup was a real mess, cars all over the place. It was like running a Snow Slalom. I arrived at PIA right after my SO did, awesome timing Had to make some detours getting back home, the hill up into Bonny Lk was still a parking lot. I actually took the worse hill you could pick to get to my place. I didnt want to at first, but I had no choice, they had all the others shut down or blocked and I wasnt about to go back thru Orting (1hr drive). Unfortunately I had 3 cars in front of me and once we hit the bad part, the fool in front lost traction (FWD) because he had no momentum. Luckily, there was a side road that I was able to shoot around and get past. I was very impressed with the Brat and the Hankooks on it. -

He should re-check the spark on all cylinders again then.

If you have a rotten muffler, it could be sending condensation up into the trunk/cab area. I've seen more than one old GL rotted out in the back due to this. -
Remove the disty cap and crank it over. If the rotor doesnt move, your belt is borked.

You still need the parts I have? If not, they go into my black hole shed.

Not worth the price or the hassle of going thr the whole system to get it working again. Heres your air strut cost. -

I believe the struts are still available, but they cost around $300ea (last time I checked). Also, dont drive on dry pavement with the 4wd engaged.
