  1. I've had 3 SVXi. Currently down to one, and its in a non-running state atm. But it does help to have a stash of parts, but god forbid if you part one out before its time
  2. I was actually thinking about how 4 TBI injectors would work in a MPFI. Or, I could just be a little off from the heat we have been having here in Puget Sound lately I just got these on Ebay the other day. 90-93 Mitsubishi Eclipse DOHC. They are rated at 250cc. Next purchase will be a Walbro fuel pump and a regulator. Sorry, crappy cell phone pic
  3. This was on CL about 3yrs ago. And I spotted another one for sale in the Seattle area a couple yrs ago, the same color. The RX usually comes with A/C, but not with CC.
  4. You might get better results if you go here; http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=144
  5. 80% of the owners of SVX and the people on the forum are over 40yrs old. I would just say they are set in their ways
  6. Evans Creek WCSS10 WCSS9 WCSS9 again Evans Creek

  8. Chef Tim has a black Hatch. Altho I cant remember if its stock or if he painted it. And I cant find any pics of it :-\
  9. Tex was in the crater behind me. I'll see if I can dig up the pic.
  10. The dyno I was on last week was having some problems, and I was the first paying customer on it that day. So everything I got from it is being thrown out (Including my first thread) Today I put it on another dyno, this time at the Drift Office in Auburn. Much different and a little more realistic. With about 25% loss due to running gear, its about 160BHP. Torque is looking good and boost is higher than expected, but it stays pretty level. With some bigger injectors and Walbro FP/regulator, I can get it a little more out of it. And this will help keep the power up a little past redline. And safely, if I dont increase the boost
  11. Those lug nuts remind of the Roman war chariots that had the spikes on the wheels. So Tex, should we name your wagon Romulus Maximus? :-p
  12. Dont worry, I have a special tool for that job. Small hands help too :-p
  13. It could just be TOD. Theres lots of info here about it and over at http://subaruxt.com/forum/index.php. You can try Seafoam or MMO first. If that doesnt quiet them down, reseal the oil pump. If it still ticks, replace the oil pump. Try a little harder next time.

  15. I've had the pleasure(?) of replacing a half dozen or more EA81 dashes. Only 2 areas for potential problems. While removing the bolts on the top corners, its possible to crack the windshield if your not careful. The other is when after installation, the thing will squeak and rattle if you dont get everything tight again.
  16. I will most likely be helping with this job. I live 3mi from him and we need to pull 2 harness's, not just one. I'll pull the first one and his kid can watch. Then he gets to do the other one. Then re-install it in the other car
  17. Its real simple......if you pull the dash out :-p Better to teach him now, then try later when he thinks he knows it all
  18. If you make it down to WCSS11 this year, you will see mine. And its even more rare because they only made black RX's in the last half of 89. Hey Chux, werent there some Turbo Touring Wagons made after 90?
  19. Geez, I knew that. I've done enough of them. Sucks getting old Who makes them and is there a part #? It might be the neutral safety lockout. But I could be wrong about that too :-\
  20. In the FSM, it looks like theres a couple of screws that come up from underneath. Maybe if you take out the glovebox you can spot them.
