December 23, 200718 yr http://break.com/index/sweet-subaru-with-snow-tracks.html YES!!!!!!!!!!!! So, is this one of us?
December 23, 200718 yr The problem is they suck at virtually everything except snow and sand..... and are extreemly expensive... nor are they DOT approved. But they are very cool. You can order them in any bolt pattern you like so fitting them to a Subaru wouldn't be difficult at all. GD
December 23, 200718 yr I love that thing.... The tracks on the Subaru are much smaller than the Mattracks versions. The smallest track setup they have is for a vehicle with 10,500 GVW. It probably much too heavy for the EA81 shown in the video. Screen captures!
December 23, 200718 yr Ah....Those are made by Mattracks. Just the ATV portion of their company: http://www.litefootatv.com The tracks must be this product: LiteFoot XT-UR “Utility-Rated” Enhanced suspension designed for heavier weight Utility ATVs Heavy Duty Internal suspension 11” wide track 1” XT tread lug 3500 G.V.W.R. Only about $5500 from this website: http://www.sidebysidesports.com/liuatvtrsy.html
December 24, 200718 yr nice winter setup It would be nice to see what it could really do. can you say subiecat?
December 24, 200718 yr it depends on what type of track you have whether or not they suck in everything but snow and sand.and they would have to be the atv version.much smaller than real version.a guy that i occasionally work with had some on his diesel last year for a deep woods job he was doing.very cool and well built.insane amount of articulation possibility out of them. cheers to those guys for adapting them to their roo.i have so wanted to do that for years now.since some of the last posts about these.i regularly see atv's up near preist lake with these.same folks i think each time.but never talked to them about them.they sure do book through just about everything i see them go through.mud included.and trust me.rednecks like their mud.
December 24, 200718 yr I want them too!but I dont think the bank would let me take out a 6K loan on tracks for a subaru...would be neat.It would also give me a reason to stay with subies for a while... anyone have any more info about the hatch?
December 24, 200718 yr Tracks would be neat to try.....but it's amazing what a Subaru will do when chained up on all four. The only problem then is ground clearance.
December 25, 200718 yr unfortunately, this is posted lower on the page.. mines a double post... toooo much holiday nog in these parts...
December 26, 200718 yr This may be old news. I thought it was great. Links to Jokeroo may be nsfw ads. http://id.jokeroo.com/1/?id=21&url_id=1538 Jay edit: Searched, old news. Still cool.
December 26, 200718 yr must be going around the internet for some reason, my brother and law emailed me the link as well, here's another: http://www.break.com/index/sweet-subaru-with-snow-tracks.html
December 27, 200718 yr holy crap, jay what have you been up to man? yeah, those tracks would be lots of fun. i heard that those are the tracks for atv's and run about $5000 a set.
December 28, 200718 yr Nice. That just looks like it would be too much fun in the mountains. I bet with drilled hubs and a lift one could also adapt some of the tracks for a 6 lug truck pretty easy as well. If only there were more $$ on hand.......
