  1. Those rims definatly make the car look different. It looks better IMO. Are the 17's going on the coupe now? -Brian
  2. Will we see this baby in action at the WCSS? I remember that XT6 that showed up at WCSS3 and that baby was a screamer! Cant wait to see this beauty tearin it up. Lookin good Ken. -Brian
  3. With your engine running you could go back there and feel the pump. If its vibrating its working. Check your filters. Maybe take them off and shake them... if you cant see through all the dirt -Brian
  4. Replace the filters. Also, your pump is back there as well... and its not uncommon for them to fail. On my lifted wagon, i have a switch that controls my fuel pump. I just hard wired it because the 20+ yr old wiring had finally failed. -Brian
  5. Yeah, looks alot better than before with those nasty looking 14" steels. I like the airdam and grill. -Brian
  6. Wow... thats some info that i wish i knew. I wasnt planning on driving out until Monday Morning... but I guess I'll be getting home 12hrs earlier than planned. But... whats this i hear about a casino??? I think i found where to spend a couple extra hours -Brian
  7. Yeah, but put a lift on your next brat cookie! Got Milk? -Brian
  8. The Discoverer's have been a great road trip tire for my wagon as well. Ive clocked 2 round trip's to Oregon and back and one round trip to Seattle and back. The tires still have enough tread to survive a few more runs. I dont know about mounting Swampers under a legacy. I had thought of putting my 27" Coopers on my Turbo Legacy, when i had it, but the rotors were too large for 14" rims. -Brian
  9. You can store the ATV here Or the brat :-P -Brian
  10. Jessica, you need to get your own screen name so you dont make eli sound like a doof :-p Yeah, you found the flywheel. the plug isnt all that important. -Brian
  11. The newer EA81 would probably have larger valves if it had hydrolic valves. If both engines have hydrolic valves then there will be no difference. The rotors are not a direct swap, you must use the calipers from the same era as well. You might be able to use the solid rotors with vented calipers, but if you have solid rotors right now and want to use vented, you'll need to swap over the calipers. -Brian
  12. Looks good. I made mine a little while ago... pretty descriptive but I need to add a couple new things. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=93 -Brian
  13. Now that theres a even OLDER-gen forum, i feel I have to make it be known My very 1st car, and the car that started it all for me was a 1979 Wagon. I always thought it was a DL, but it had a tach... so maybe a GL. My mother took this picture the day after I bought it I only had it for about 8 months before I lost my license. Then I went sube-less for a while. But I impressed myself and alot of my friends with that car. We nicknamed it The Misery Machine (Parady of The Mystery Machine from scooby doo). It got me through Highscool though, all winter without a problem. About a year or so ago I found this gem nearby, and scored it at no charge (except for a 300mile drive home in a car that hadn't ran in 2 years). But one look and I couldnt say no... After I got that '78 Wagon, I found a local Subaru enthusiast who was interested in restoring it. Sold it to him and will plan on keeping in touch to check its progress. So far the body is being treated for rust before a fresh coat of paint goes on. So there we go... my Historic Subaru History -Brian
  14. I have one. Its HUUUGE! Let me see if I have a smaller version online...... .....Yup... you can find a new one and an old version here: http://usmb.net/gallery/album149 Your Welcome... -Brian
  15. Did you have the dealer remove and install the injectors? Im wondering how hard it would be to get something like this done. Not sure if I'd be able to take down the RX to have it done though :| -Brian
  16. Im talking about snow that is hardpack and about 2' to 3' deep at some parts. Snow drifts can reach heights of 7' and no matter how much lift you got... you wont be driving through it. over it is the key. -Brian
  17. I dont care where they are made, those rims are hot. And I think they'd look great on a white RX instead! -Brian
  18. Here in the sierra's the jeepers wheel in the snow by lowering their tire pressure to just above 10psi. A guy I know can goto 2psi with his bead locks. On snow that is what you need, and those guys have perfected the art. Mud is a totally different story. Yes, clearance will be your best bet for mud, and grippy nasty tires too. -Brian
  19. Dont forget the chain driven EA81. -Brian
  20. Ive heard it doesnt hurt to mix different wieghts, so long as you do not mix synthetic with conventional oil. -Brian
  21. Yeah, it depends on which one you have. There's a pushbar that mounts to your front tow hooks, and theres another pushbar that is longer and mounts to the engine crossmember. The longer style pushbar is not a direct bolt on if your subaru has plastic bumpers. I Had a write up with step by step instructions but its long gone by now. -Brian
  22. Dont let JB see it. If he does, it wont be sitting for long I say, if you can save it... try to get it. -Brian
  23. Plastic Fender Thing? I'll have to check my manual for that, never heard of it. I have mine modded just alittle: If by "Plastic fender thing" you mean bumper trim... ive got mine painted as well. -Brian
  24. Yup, my sig has one too Ive been able to fit 6x8s in the front of my RX. I dont have pix, but I should get some. I didnt have to use any spacers, and they are not shallow by any means. -Brian
  25. Every bearing Ive had has used the same seals for inner and outer. I dont think they're any different. But it may differ for EA82's. -Brian
