  1. Nothing. Unless you want more/less camber than the stock units provide. Going that low you need at some point to replace the bump steer bushings. O.
  2. Injectors are easy to replace in car. The large fat ones that go into the manifold would be hard to get from anyone but an online store or dealer. I'd reinstall the originals, then get what you need, unless you can deal with the down time. O.
  3. check opposed forces. find part, click on usage and see if the other year is listed. Wheels make no difference. O.
  4. ^++++ Agree with all said. Is it a P0420 code? If so, it's generally the rear O2 sensor. Do search under the code and you'll see available options. O.
  5. on top of the fuel tank in between the access plates. The tank has to be dropped to access. three wires Red, Yellow and Red/Blue stipe. Are you getting a code? Download FSM. O.
  6. There is a grease made for disc brakes. Comes in a jar with a brush, Permatex IIRC. O.
  7. Make sure it's not your ball joints, both upper and lower. If wasted you will get all sorts of slop. O.
  8. Head bolts!!!!! Good thing you weren't able to loosen them or you'd be doing HG's. O.
  9. Actually 5/32". Best is to find a place that shaves tires. Get similar tread design if possible. O.
  10. Try to tighten it first to break the tension. By the sounds of it you are going to need quite a few new ones. They definitely sb 6 pt oem. O.
  11. The Stant Xactstat #48457 is exactly the same as Subaru's unit. O.
  12. Once raised, I've come to use two small blocks cut from a 2x4 (actually 1 1/2" on the short side) under the edges of the tranny.. It can rest on there and gives me the room for the mount studs to clear the frame, so the lower bolts can go in further. O.
  13. I'd just clean it up and fix with your choice of materials. Would then coat with some rust preventative. (the link won't come up) Had similar issue but on the canister in front from a 96 2.5. Drilled and epoxied a barb from a spare hose. O.
  14. do search for speedo fix. May be the circuit board on back of unit or loose mounting screws. O.
  15. Check your vacuum lines, especially the small one to the fuel presure regulator. If the 08 has the hose from the IAC to intake check that too. O.
  16. Field Service Manual. 2nd page of New Gen sticky above, under my name is link to fsm. O.
  17. The'02 Forester and other 2.5 SOHC have that PS plug. Don't know when they started or how much across the line it goes.. Do search for FSM. Download and go to the Electrical section and you'll find the pinouts. O.
  18. Do a search here and on legacygt.com, there is a workaround for this. The system is only looking for flow,. In effect a tee is taken from an intake line and fed to the egr solenoid.. O.
  19. Leave the block heater in. Probably oem. A hose tee in the heater line has always worked for me. Have never seen the need to remove a freeze plug just to drain the system, on any engine. O.
  20. Make sure you have not dislodged the vacuum line that goes to the pressure solenoid on the IM. The other side goes to the fuel pressure regulator. If you don't have vacuum, you won't get fuel. O.
  21. may not be the valves, but the guides/seals.. If they were tweaked a little in the original bending of valves, they won't seal. O.
