Question on WRX STI lift
bratman18 replied to Ayk07's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThey do make strut top lifts for those cars. Usually only an inch, but bigger is possible. But even with an inch, you can fit bigger tires to give it a bit more height as well.

Overheat.
bratman18 replied to Suba_GL_87's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXNo. As they already said, subaru or six star head gaskets are the only ones you want.

88 GL10 turbo help
All EA82 heads crack that way. Not just the turbo ones. It's most likely the head gaskets. The EA82 turbos were known for overheating issues.

Baja push frame
bratman18 replied to Bajaowner1's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXMost like you'll have to have something made. Also, check out mainelysubarus.com, I notice you're from Maine, and it's a much more local forum.

EJ25 Swap help needed
But much more reliable. Doesn't have the same head gasket issues, and as a rule, holds up to anything you throw at it, much better than the ej25.

2002 outback 2" lift?
bratman18 replied to tacotravis's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXForester springs won't be a lot different than the outback springs. And the only forester springs that will fit 2000+ outbacks are 09+ foresters. But they will not do much.

couple issues with ej swap
I really hope that's all it was. We did try another maf with the same results, but I suppose if the connector had a bad spot, that'd be why that didn't work either. Can't wait to get this done! Whenever I finally get home from working in Canada anyway.

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
I'd do it on the car for sure. But if you don't use sand, it might not bend as smooth and might buckle the snorkel. So you'd have to take it off to add and remove the sand.
-
My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Will you be removing it to fill/empty it with sand? If so you should totally make me a template to line it up in the right spot on the fender!

87 GL Wagon (picture heavy)
Actually there's 2 wires that come from the ecu that send the signal for the fans to turn on. You then use one of those wires to hook up your own relay to turn on the fan(s) when the ecu senses the right temp. And yes, both come on at the same time. Mine was running, just couldn't get it to rev past 4k. We tried everything. We are swapping out the harness and ecu to an obd1 setup thanks to Gloyale.

It's red easy to wire it up to be ecu controlled. That's how mine are. I have 2 12" fans. They look like the same brand as you have.
