  2. I have a few hosted... http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo73 Here are a couple others: http://www.usmb.net/movies/JunkieDirtStuck.avi http://www.usmb.net/movies/SoobmeSmokin.avi Eric Zap is famous for his line of personal Subaru Video's. He has about 4 or 5 of them available, including video of his trip with Ken and others on the Rubicon trail. I have the first 4 of his videos, and they are all great. I have alot of video, most of it is not digitized yet... but i'll be working on that later in the near future. -Brian
  3. Yeah, i have alot of art... not much is scanned, but some is... i'll try to find it. -Brian
  4. Its alot less time consuming to just replace it with a reman CV. CV's can be had between $50 to $75, depending on where. Tip: Kragen/Schucks/Checkers auto will beat anybody's price by 5% so call around and get some prices, then call Kragen and let them know... i get CV's for about $52ea with a lifetime warranty. -Brian
  5. If it were bearings it wouldn't go away when you press in the clutch. The clicking you are hearing is the bearing casing when it hits the DOJ, with grease in there, it doesnt click... when they are dry, they click... when the CV siezes, your car will shake like the front end was falling apart. When You press in the clutch, there is nothing forcing the CV to turn, therefore the bearing casing doesnt slam into the DOJ causing the click. Bearings also tend to create a type of grinding sound, and the sound will change due to weight transfer over the effected bearings. -Brian
  6. Adam, let me know event plans so I can plan ahead. Would love to come back up there and hang out with some new members. -Brian
  7. Wow, Teagues... havent seen him on the USMB in forever, i wonder if he knows we moved. -Brian

  9. John, i am not far from I-5, keep that in mind. Also, for you, there is never "too late to call". I have an open garage and a box full of tools, but i suspect you'll already be covered in the tools dept. If you have free time on your trip through, feel free to call and maybe we can grab lunch or something. Safe journeys. -Brian
  10. Lift it! Im running 14" pug rims with 26" Cooper Discoverer STT's, theyre great. ANd coupled with the alloy rims, the car doesnt have much bog at all. If you want it installed right, read the instructions and keep BMW away!! hahahahaha -Brian p.s. Just givin you a hard time Jon.
  11. What was the guy driving who hit Jerry??? a pillow?? That thing doesnt have a scratch on it. -Brian
  12. And its the personalising of somebody's car. We all do it in one way or another. Look at my car, it has a 3" lift, and cut fenders. Somebody is probably saying "How can somebody do that to a mint '84 GL". -Brian
  13. No, there were actually wagons with round headlights too i believe. -Brian
  14. Nope, i had an '81 with single square lights. -Brian

  21. When my parents moved from Anchorage, they drove and it took them 6 days of driving straight, without stopping to see anything. I flew to California, and took me like 8 hours I would love to drive back and visit some friends, no friends in Fairbanks but alot in Anchorage and Wasilla. -Brian
