I have one on my Forester? Subaru sells what the call a "brush guard". It's nothing more than a thick piece of plastic to mount fog lights on. I think they have to have it that way so it won't affect the air bags? In 4wd your rear wheels are trying to pass the fronts if you have a D/R and a 3.7 diff You'd probably hear your drivetrain trying to compensate for the difference in speed. Churping rear wheels? You may be able to jack the car up and see if the front and rear wheel move the same speed in 4wd.

The oversized tires are the key to it's ability. Note the angle of approach is all most unlimited. It didn't even struggle over those rocks!

Put out a thread in the "Market Place" forum. This board is really good on that sort of thing. I do what RallyKeith says and I have great results. I can get the car to unlock from amazing distances. Sometimes I have to press twice to get the other doors to open? Usually when I wait too long... My .02 Glenn 82 SubaruHummer--no doors, no remotes. 01 Forester--Ebay factory keyless and remotes.

You could have a piece of the plastic inner wheel well loose and rubbing against the tire? My Camry will do that every now and then in a wind. Are your lug nuts tight?
