  1. Got it by connecting all the dots... Above I grounded the gauge and it pegged. Installed the new gauge and was jumping up and down that I did not waste 85$
  2. You probly got it out of the grey 2 door. It is a clean lil unit. Bought the luggage rack that was mounted on top of it....
  3. You won't find a better family than Bernard's family. At Central Grade. They have sold me two sets of PUGS and many other priceless things very inexpensively.... That guy has been around the block...
  4. Looks like a really nice car!
  5. Was there a problem before? Like the Moderator said I don't think it is supposed to be there...
  6. Well the Palouse is nice, 9-Mile ORV, Spaldings...LOL,
  7. No on the 77-78 but Bernard's in Lewiston has a couple.
  8. I am new this but it would be sweet to go to the ORV parks or something. Was just at Spaulding last Sat. Nice hatchback and a complete turbo motor in there.
  9. Just wandering is there a group that lives in the Spokane area?
  10. Props on the intro. We all have them in our family 4 in all. I am from Lima Mt originally. I had to look up the definition of "Prattle" though. There is a lot of info here depending on what you want to do. Welcome from Spokane, Eric
  11. I have read the above posts. We rebuilt my son's and seam to be leaking coolant around the head gasket externally after about 5000 miles. Is this a retorquing issue? Eric Ford
  12. Thanks, This is some real good info. Eric Ford
  13. Yes it is the bearing most likely. They are fairly easy to do. be sure to use sythetic red bearing grease and buy new seals. If you can afford it do both sides. Pay attention to how the seals are placed because for the average mechanic they appear backwards but really are installed correctly. Eric
  14. I ship a lot of different types of equipment. The moving company's do better with the fagile stuff.
  15. I would jump on the new on above. But, I live in a pretty industrial area and the NAPA warehouse ships my "SPECIAL" distributors to a company in California. I have had NAPA rebuild some strange distributor really reasonable. Eric
  16. It started with a blown motor and we rebuilt it outside in the cold over the winter. We added the stripes last spring. Just finished the lift (sort-of) trying to rectify some issues still. Found a set of PUGS and pretty happy with the result.
  17. So I am playing around with a similar problem. Though my sending unit was rusted solid cause the car was sitting for a while. When jump the circuit It should make the tank read full correct? I am presuming when I install the new sending unit it will still not work. If this happens what next?
  18. Very nice Free is good!
  19. New to the forum friend but there is a little truth to everything avove. Yes I am new to the forum but, Subaru's have been part of my family since my dad bought the 84 Brat new from the dealership in Yakima Wa. Anytime you lift anything it will take it's toll on ALL Suspension parts and drive train. It is the price you pay for the adventure. I have a 15 and 17 year old and both have project Subie's. I am not taking sides here cause like you I am a newbie to the forum and will conduct myself according. I love the members rides. We all should share our adventures.
  20. We don't have a Brat but love to join ya....:-).
