  1. I've got it running, altho its not doing what it should be. First of all, the idle. It starts at 1k and rises to 2k and holds there. Should I use the set screws on the TB to bring it down, or what? Second issue, charging system. Not sure if I have a bad alt or what, but its not putting out anything close to a charge. I put my meter on it and it shows 11.50v and I missed something in my wiring splice as all my idiot lights are lit. Thirdly is the temp. What do these engines normally run at? My gauge is showing 200deg, which is quite a bit higher than my EA82T ran. I had to use the thermostat that was originally on it and I dont think its opening :-\ Fourth issue is driveability. When I give it the gas, it falls on its face. I'm using the stock EA fuel pump, so I wonder if this is the problem And last but not least......I hate doing builds on a budget Stats: 89 RX with fulltime D/R tranny/diff lock. Tranny adapter from Rgyver. Using XT6 flywheel drilled out to mate to EJ engine. EJ22T from wrecking yard in Yakima. EJ harness from outside sources.
  2. Fuel leak I believe. Moving this to retrofit....
  3. You will need the ECU to engine harness. Hope you also got a turbo cross member.
  4. You can finally add me to the list 89 RX 92 EJ22T RX Tranny (till it grenades)
  5. It would look totally different on mine. Theres no contrast.
  6. Yeah, I forgot to mention them. Have several pieces from that brand. One is a broken 17mm socket :-\ Not saying they are bad tools, we have a local parts store that sells them exclusively. I bought my stuff off a local private truck.
  7. I might have something to trade for those superlites.
  8. You buy the RT plane ticket, no problem. The only thing thats any good on it is the intake and heads.
  9. Better to ask this over at http://www.subaruxt.com
  10. I think its pretty good myself
  11. Theres a sticky in this forum that gives you tire and wheel combination.
  12. Good luck getting the cup off a axle. I tried years ago with a 10k press and got no where :-\
  13. WOOT! It runs! Would have fired right up the first time, if I had hooked up the fuel lined correctly
  14. The title to your first thread was I NEED a CTS.........so I moved it. And from what you were saying, it also sounded like you needed one. But to answer your question, I believe Bosch makes a connector thats the same. I think I've seen a post over at subaruxt.com about, but I cant be 100% positive. The plugs should also be the same for MPFI and SPFI.
  15. I drove it last Summer in my RX, then took Hwy 410 over the mountain and back home. I'll probably do the same route again.
  16. Looking real good Tex, I know theres hope for my RX now :-p Is the CF vinyl more $ than the matt stuff?
  17. What yard?
  18. Craftsman - Cheap and has a warranty. Matco - Average cost w/warr. Mac - Same thing. Cornwell - A little more expensive w/warr. Snap-On - Costliest of the bunch, also w/warr. Sizes needed would be; 8mm 10mm 12mm 14mm 17mm 22mm 32mm
  19. And it wasnt even all put together! I may have something like that again in the near future
  20. Great job. Now you should mount them on the back side of the steering wheel
  21. I'm pretty sure I posted in the first thread. Hopefully you wont scare everyone off with your allergy.
  22. This should answer your question... A little research before spitting out answers helps alot.
  23. I've used Ford blue on all the ones I've repainted. Its a little darker but looks ok.
