  1. EA82 clutch kit and flywheel will all work. You'll need to trim the bottom of the bellhop sing on the ea81 motor. You'll see when you try to fit the flywheel. And also need to transfer timing marks onto EA82 flywheel from the ea81 flywheel. That's what I've used on both of my ea81 to EA82 tranny combos.
  2. I had a regular GL that had the factory steering wheel mounted cruise control buttons. It was an 89 Touring wagon. But my current 90 Loyale has the same as above.
  3. Is it actually the wheel, or the tire that is for temporary use? Just curious.
  4. The only thing for the flywheel to possibly hit is the little dust shield on the bottom. Unless you're using an EA82 flywheel in an ea81 motor. And you must be referring to the throw out bearing. The pilot bearing doesn't come in contact with the pressure plate. The input shafts goes into the pilot bearing which is installed in the flywheel.
  5. ^Should be able to do the crossmember swap with less lift than that. I had an old friend that did it on a gen 2 wagon. He only used small lift blocks and got away with it. I don't know all the details though.
  6. How do you adjust a pilot bearing? And what housing was the flywheel scraping against??
  7. I used a 205 75 14 on mine. Like I said, they got heat hard, and then driven on daily on 2 different cars. No issues. No bent wheels, and I only ever blew one tire, and that was spinning on rocky terrain and I sliced the slide wall. Probably not the best option, but it was the only one I had at the time.
  8. I ran a set of 14" space saver spares from 2wd models for a long time with no issues. And then I sold them to a friend who beat the snow out of them without issues. And they were driven daily on the road as well.
  9. 5spd single range. Maybe that's what you're looking for?
  10. It's recommended that you use OEM Subaru or six star for the head gaskets. And there is no need to buy new head bolts. Just Re use the old ones.
  11. Long extsnsion, and kind of wiggle your way up in there. I've done a bunch. It can be a pain, but it's doable.
  12. The stock bolts have enough adjustment in them to correct the camber. If you go more than just outback struts, then you'd need more. Same with the rear, there's enough adjustment in the lateral links.
  13. Ej20 turbo is the same width as an ej25 turbo, it's still dohc. The only sohc ej motor is the ej22t.
  14. And the STi came with an R180, not an R200. And the wrx has a regular R160.
  15. No it won't weaken it. There's some info in this link that will be the same for your early legacy. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/118004-the-unofficial-how-to-lift-your-impreza-thread/
  16. I ordered a generic color from him on ebay and had it in and week. But I inquired about another decal through pm on here and got short replies that didn't really seem like he wanted help. I just assumed he's a busy guy.
  17. Lol. Yes wheels. Not whelp. Not sure how that came out. Yeah, you can definitely get cheaper wheels than that. Those are just fairly popular because they clear the brakes, and you can use a 15"tire.
  18. These are the ones. http://m.ebay.com/itm/261775056565?nav=SEARCH
  19. Sweet. You need at least the front half of the driveshaft, but probably just as easy to get the whole thing. How was the body on the car?
  20. You can get 1" blocks from subtle solutions, or paranoid fabrications, and I'm sure other places as well. As far as tires go, you can get 15" rally whelp and then fit a 225 70 15 tire. That's a pretty popular combo on the XV. You can get General Grabbers in that size.
  21. I'm having the opposite problem. I have a broken exhaust stud stuck in the hole on my ea81. There's enough to grab a hold of, but I can't get it to budge.
  22. Damn dude. I still haven't looked to see if I have any. I think I do, but not positive.
